Pyro drones are specialized light show drones that have a capacity to carry up to 4 shots of pyrotechnics (fireworks) with them in the sky

How do pyro drones work in a drone show?

Pyro drones are mainly used as an accent to a drone light show, or as part of a big impressive moment to really WOW the audience.

Are pyro drones safe?

Yes. The Verge Aero system has multiple levels of built-in failsafes. If a drone's failsafe is activated, the pyro module is automatically disabled as well. This is the benefit to having an integrated pyro module, as opposed to other systems that use a 3rd party pyro module that is not integrated into the drone itself. Also, the pyro and the drones are armed separately so the pilot can disarm the pyro at any time.

Pyro drones add an element of fireworks to a drone show, but without the big booms and the mess that comes with fireworks. All the pyro effects we use burn up completely in the sky so there are no shell casings or scrap that litters all over the ground afterward. Pyro drones can be used with absolute precision in the sky.
